This is something I hadn't shown here yet. We had this one-week show in the school's concourse and they asked us to make new work for it. The first thing I noticed was the strong grid defined by the floor tiles. I decided to explore the possibilities of going for and against it. The anecdote came courtesy of a Health & Safety officer, who decided to tread on my piece to check whether it could be slippery when trodden on. (No, I'm not joking.) I'm in this show at Islington Arts Factory called Pataphors. The private view is on the 11th of February (that's next week) from 7 to 9 pm and it runs until the 18th of February. A short one, then (specially compared to my show at the V&A, which closed last week after four eternal months). See you there for free drinks.
